About The Manila Times College of Subic K12 Education

The Basic Education Department of The Manila Times College of Subic is committed to providing quality, values-centered education from early childhood through Senior High School. As part of a growing academic institution in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, TMTCS offers a structured learning environment that balances academic rigor with character formation and holistic development.

The school operates under the Department of Education K to 12 framework while continuously strengthening its academic programs through international perspectives and best practices. With its current status as a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate, TMTCS demonstrates its commitment to continuous improvement, global standards, and the development of internationally minded learners.

At the heart of the Basic Education program is the belief that education must nurture both competence and character. Students are guided to become disciplined learners, responsible citizens, and reflective individuals who are prepared for higher education and the demands of a changing world.

The institution fosters a culture of respect, collaboration, and academic integrity. Faculty members work closely with students and parents to ensure that learning remains purposeful, structured, and responsive to individual growth. Through consistent academic support, co-curricular engagement, and community involvement, TMTCS seeks to create a learning community that values excellence and service.

Message from the Principal

Welcome to the Basic Education community of The Manila Times College of Subic.

It is my privilege to lead a department committed to shaping young minds through purposeful and disciplined learning. At TMTCS, we believe education goes beyond academic achievement. It forms character, strengthens values, and guides students to become responsible and compassionate members of society.

We provide a structured and supportive environment where learners are encouraged to think critically, communicate clearly, and act with integrity. We uphold high expectations not only in academic performance but also in conduct, leadership, and respect for others.

As we continue our journey as a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate, we remain focused on strengthening our curriculum and aligning our practices with international standards. This reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and preparing students for a changing and globally connected world.

We value our partnership with parents and guardians and remain dedicated to open communication and collaboration. Together, we prepare our students for higher education and meaningful participation in their communities.

Thank you for being part of the TMTCS Basic Education community. We look forward to supporting your child’s growth and success.

Ms. Laura Mendoza
