Vision
The Manila Times College of Subic (TMTCS) is committed to produce competent, dedicated, responsible students for meaningful participation in a growing global community.
Mission
The Manila Times College of Subic (TMTCS) endeavors to create a culture of excellence, competence, innovation, and responsiveness in the pursuit of its fundamental functions of instruction, research, extension, and productivity. In its mission to become an educational center of excellence, it anchors itself to the virtues of leadership and community service. It
seeks to serve as a catalyst for the students’ holistic personal transformation that fosters true devotion to learning, ethical living and authentic service to the nation and the world.
The Manila Times College of Subic began with a bold vision: to bring world-class education to Subic and transform lives through learning. In 2008, we opened our doors with the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, answering the call to develop healthcare heroes for our nation. This was just the beginning of a remarkable journey that would see us grow into a comprehensive institution serving students at every stage of their educational path.
Building on our commitment to healthcare education, we launched our BS Medical Technology program (double check original program name) in 2012, strengthening our foundation in the medical sciences. Then in 2014, we expanded out vision downward to nurture the youngest learners, opening our K-12 Basic Education Department, creating a seamless journey where students could begin their education as wide-eyed kindergarteners and continue all the way through Senior High School under one roof.
As we entered a new era, we continued to evolve with the changing needs of our world. In 2018, we introduced our Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting Program, opening doors to media and communication careers. Then came 2020, a watershed moment in our history, when we established our Doctor of Medicine program – a testament to our commitment to producing not just graduates, but leaders who will shape the future of healthcare in the Philippines and beyond. Most recently in 2022, we launched our Bachelor of Multimedia Arts major in Animation/Film and Video Production/Graphic Design, embracing the creating industries that drive innovation and expression.
At TMTCS, we don’t just prepare students for careers – we prepare them to make a difference. Every teacher, every program, every innovation serves one purpose: to transform ordinary moments into extraordinary futures. From a wonder of a kindergartener’s first day to the pride of a medical graduate taking the Hippocratic Oath, we are building more than an institution. Today, as we pursue rigorous accreditation and expand our commitment to research and quality assurance, we remain true to our founding vision: we are building legacies, one student at a time, where excellence meets opportunity and dreams take flight.
